PLEON YACHT CLUB AND
THE 2013 SAILING PROGRAM
The
2013 Pleon Sailing Program will begin Monday, June 24nd and end Wednesday,
August 21th. The primary
emphasis of the program is learning through experience on the water. Pleon also provides members with a variety of
additional summertime activities. Social
events include cookouts, movie nights, dances, Great Day, the Commodore's Ball
and Awards Night. Elections for flag
officers are held in August for the following summer. Pleon often hosts regattas including
regional, national and international class championships. Commodore Aidan Kennedy will be on hand each
day during the summer to answer any questions that you may have regarding club
and social activities.
TRY OUT PLEON!
Pleon would like to encourage members of our community to try out Pleon! This year we will be offering a number of programs for those who would like to experience Pleon without making a season-long commitment. Intro to Pleon is a two-week program for the youngest sailors. Many of our other classes now offer half-season programs for older sailors. Sailors signing up for any of these programs, or as social members, will be members of Pleon for the full season and are invited to participate in social activities of the club throughout the summer.
