Week 2 Newsletter
Sailors and Parents,
finishing up our second week of program, time flies! We had a pretty humid week
with a couple days of no wind, which caused for some interesting alternate
lessons i.e. a pentathlon, capsizing test, etc.
We started off
the week with Rockstar Day where we had some interesting costumes. For photos
from Terrific Tuesday and this week check out the url provided, http://www.pleon.org/page/photos.
I apologize for
the late posting of the Wednesday Series results! Our Race Committee was held
up because of the protests filed. Pictures from our first official Wednesday
Series are available by clicking here, http://www.pleon.org/page/3340/2555/.

had a great turn out for Manchester's Opti Green Fleet regatta(20+ ). We hadn't
anticipated such a heavy turnout and had to send a second coach at the last
minute. Today some of our Opti sailors will be making their way up to Sandy Bay
Yacht Club in Rockport for the Linda Wieditz Regatta.
Our Laser and
420 teams are headed to the New Bedford Junior Regatta this weekend. Good luck
