We're entering wind-down mode as we look ahead to the last week of Pleon! Put these events on your calendars. Super important:
MONDAY: Commodore's Ball. This is the annual Pleon semi-formal dance. Entrance is $10 collected at the door. Pleon members ages 12+ are invited to meet at 6:45 at Pleon! The Ball starts at 7 and takes place on the Hannah Glover. So much fun!
-Teriffic Tuesday: What Not To Wear Day
-MANDATORY: ELECTIONS AT NOON in the grassy knoll(by the Eastern paddle hut). As a member of Pleon, every sailor must be at Elections to elect next summer's Officers and Committee Members. If there is absolutely NO way a sailor can make it to elections, they should email me their vote for Commodore before Tuesday. The current nominees are: Rachel Foster, Ben Pitman, and Garrett McKinnon.
-5:30pm Officer/Committee Member cookout at Pleon, to show my appreciation and celebrate the importance of the officers. Here is a full list of the officers: OFFICERS
Last Day of Pleon Summer classes :(
6:30pm Pleon Banquet, in the Marblehead High School cafeteria. All Pleon sailors and their families should come to Banquet to celebrate a successful and fun summer. We will be giving out over 60 awards! Please bring a dessert to add to the dessert table! Banquet is free of charge, we will be accepting donations at the door.
Great Day yesterday was a success! I have a few cake platters left at Pleon, come pick them up if you lost yours.
Good luck to the 5 420 teams we have competing at 420 North Americans right now, and also to our competitors at Duxbury JO's!
