Hey Pleon,

Congrats to the Pleon sailors who went to 420 New Englands this past weekend. Peter Lynn and Chris Manson ended the weekend in 4th, and Matt Safford and Griffin Webber were 5th! Jack Raisides also had success at the Manchester Green Fleet Regatta yesterday, coming in 4th!

As you may know, Marblehead Junior Race Week is quickly approaching.  We have a lot of sailors coming into town, and are looking for your help in accommodating them. Please help us have another successful regatta by housing one or more sailors on the nights of July 20-22.  It is a terrific opportunity to develop relationships with sailors from other areas. Especially if your children race, consider the opportunity to contribute to the junior racing community.

It’s easy to do. You just need to provide a bed, couch or mattress, a ride to and from Pleon each day (some may have their own transport), and a willingness to supervise your visiting sailor(s) outside of racing (most of their time will be spent racing and evening dinner at Pleon on Mon/Tues). We will connect you with your sailor(s) on Sunday, July 20 at 7pm at Pleon. We ask the hosted sailors to bring a sleeping bag, pillow and towel. All meals will be provided at Pleon.
If you can help, please email Leanne Torrie at with the following information:
-how many kids you can house
-your preference (if any) of gender and age
-your contact information including email and cell/home phone #s

We would really appreciate your support! A big thanks to those who have already offered to host!

Don't forget that Red Sky Night is this Saturday! Check our the details here:

Thank you so much!
