Week 3 Newsletter
July 13, 2012

Dear Pleon Sailors and Parents,

We're just finishing up our third week of program, it was a good week with some humid weather and heavy wind. It was nice to have a low key week before every one heads down to Hingham and Falmouth.

Monday, Commodore for the Day - I apologize if I stirred up some confusion amongst the parents with the emails from Nate Tedford. Nate won "Commodore for the day" at Great Night as an auction item. The email about me being overthrown was a joke. Although, he did do a great job as interim commodore!!

Wednesday Series- Erin and I were able to watch some good racing this Wednesday and get some good pictures. For results please click on the url provided, http://www.pleon.org/page/sailing/wednesday_series

For photos from Wednesday and all week 3 shenanigans please see the click here, http://www.pleon.org/page/3340/3079/

In honor of the Olympics this year, Pleon will having our own Olympic competition this Tuesday. Kids will be on teams representing different countries and competing in an array of events ranging from scooter slalom, spring pole long jump, hiking contest, etc.

*Normal classes will not be held. Timing schedule is the same as usual though (Morning 9-12, Afternoon 1-4:30)
