Participation is encouraged for all Pleon sailors at various regattas throughout the season. Information will be provided by instructors and through the parent race team coordinators. Class and regatta information can be found at:
Private boat ownership is strongly encouraged for members of the Race Teams. Alternatively, arrangements can be made to check out a club boat for a regatta. Please go to Club Boat Waiver under the Regatta tab for more info.
Parental support is essential for all sailors participating in regattas. Responsibilities include registering for regattas, chaperoning at away events, providing transport for children, dinghies and coach boats, loading and unloading boats, supplying snacks and drinks, and providing accommodation for coaches while traveling. There will be a mandatory Parent's Meeting for each Race Team early in the season, at which time the regatta schedule and parental coverage will be discussed.
