As we approach the last month of sailing at Pleon, we wanted to mention how we are doing with fundraising for the new building. Our goal is to raise $600,000 for the building and $150,000 for maintenance and program. We are excited to say that we have raised over $475,000. We are confident that in the next few weeks we will reach our $600,000 goal. To do this the members are working very hard in their fundraising activities of selling the 50/50 raffle tickets, boat washing, ice cream socials and the coin drop. Our hopes are that every Pleon family will join in the excitement of the new building and contribute as little or as much as they feel appropriate. Every dollar or in kind donation counts. Pleon is a wonderful community and a special place for our children, so we encourage and hope you will find it within yourself to help us build our new club house and sailing center.
